Last Saturday, I worked at the South Coast Plaza fashion show (funding for Vista's Children) in Palos Verdes. As a dresser, I am required to wear all black. I want to maintain being stylish and comfortable, so here is my simple all black look!

Salmon Scallops & Sweater

You don't have to say goodbye to your favorite summer dress. Well here in California, the weather is bipolar and so it can be quite warm. The weather is finally reaching to a chillier climate, I layered on with a chunky sweater. Now the dress is functioning as a scalloped skirt! To stop the sweater at the waist, I wore my favorite black belt. I spent a lovely day out with my sister, and so a cute hat to protect my face was very much needed! I love hats for any type of weather! :)

Do you ever have those days when your hair is super perfect or your makeup is just flawless? That's how I felt that day! This look was was for a fashion show for breast cancer awareness. Motto faux leather jackets are super fun to add to the outfit because of their texture. This one has quilted shoulders, which is a nice detail. I am actually at the library near home, which I haven't visited in a while. Now, there are so many chicken and roosters roaming around! haha

Tartan of this Bipolar Weather
November 21, 2013 7 comments
The weather has been very bipolar! It is midway into fall, and it would be too warm to layer. But a pattern that I love lately is the plaid aka tartan. When I styled it with a beanie and denim shorts, I felt a little lumberjack vibe. Accenting the black in the outfit, I paired it with my essential black belt, beanie, and Litas! These haven't been worn in a while, but oh they are so comfy!

Fox and Moon Clothing x Chloe&Isabel Trunk Show
November 20, 2013 5 comments
Last Saturday I hosted a trunk show with Chloe and Isabel at a lovely boutique in Long Beach.
Bethany is so kind to host a raffle along with the giveaway on my blog.
Wish we retook this picture!
This is the first look I put together. I want to send a romantic yet edgy casual vibe. Lace trims always add that sweet soft touch to a look. And I think when tying the top with a knot on the side for a casual finish.
Don't you just love this necklace from Chloe+Isabel? It reminds me of a mermaid's scale, adding such a statement to a simple look.
Adding a chunky warm outerwear for the colder weather.
Thank you Amanda from FeasFashionFaves for coming out and play dress up with me!
I love this head piece! It makes me feel like I am a bohemian princess! haha
Thank you for those who came to visit, I truly appreciate it!

Southern Cali's beginning of fall is rather warmer than most regions. A simple muted color of the top and help bring out the print of the dungarees. The cut on the neckline is perfect to showcase the shoulders. Adding on some tights and a slouchy cardigan would be much needed for the transitioning into the colder weather.
